Women have equal rights under the law in the workplace and Czech women have made great advances during recent years.
Women employees can be found in all areas of commerce and industry. At the same time it should be stated that most senior positions in the Czech Republic are taken by men – as would be the case in many other countries.
Visiting business women should encounter little or no gender bias and will be judged on their professional abilities. Prove you are trustworthy and professional and you will be treated with great courtesy and respect.
