Although many Argentine women work, it is fairly unusual to meet one who holds a very senior position within an organisation. Most women will be found in administrative roles or in middle management positions at best.

Visiting female executives should not really encounter any particular gender bias and can expect to be treated with great warmth and extreme politeness. Do not be too surprised if male contacts touch more often than would be normal in your culture — this is normal in Argentina.
